PGL UK Adventure Trip

April 5, 2023

For many of our Grade 10 students, the Easter holidays provided an opportunity to go on an exciting adventure to PGL Liddington, accompanied by their educators.

PGL Liddington is a residential outdoor activity center located in Wiltshire, United Kingdom, offering an array of exciting outdoor activities and opportunities for personal development.

For many of the students, this was their first time away from home for an extended period.

Throughout the week, the students participated in a range of thrilling outdoor activities. These included zip-lining, rock-climbing, abseiling, archery, among others. The students were divided into teams and took part in team-building exercises that encouraged collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.

One of the highlights of the trip was the giant swing, which involved being strapped into a harness and hoisted high up into the air before being released to swing through the air. Many of the students found this experience exhilarating and were proud of themselves for overcoming any fears they may have had.

The PGL experience was not only about having fun, but it was also an opportunity for personal growth and development. The students learned valuable skills such as resilience, teamwork, and leadership. They were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and challenge themselves in new ways.

The Grade 10 students returned from PGL with a newfound sense of confidence and self-assurance. They have learnt that they were capable of achieving great things when they put their minds to it.

The experience has also brought them closer together as a grade and helped them to form stronger bonds with their classmates.

This was San Anton School`s 15th trip to PGL and the 3rd for this scholastic year.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible team of accompanying teachers who have been there every step of the way.

They have given their time, energy and expertise to make sure that our students had the best possible experience.

We are immensely grateful for their hard work and dedication.
