A special appreciation goes out to the esteemed celebrity judges: Gianni Zammit, Gianluca Bezzina, and Michela Galea. Not only did they bring their expertise to the judging panel, but they also treated us to their remarkable performances, showcasing their own immense talent and inspiring the participants with their artistry.
Behind every successful event, there is a team of dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to ensure its smooth execution. The LYR-X Radio Awards 2023 owes its success to the organisation and coaching team led by Mr. Matthew, Mr. Robert, Mr. Marvic, Ms. Alison, and Ms. Michela. Their guidance and support were instrumental in shaping the event and nurturing the participants' talents.
Ms. Denise and her art students, led by the talented artist James Micallef Grimaud, added a touch of visual splendor to the occasion. Their stunning backdrop brought an artistic dimension to the stage, enhancing the overall atmosphere and immersing the audience in a visually captivating experience.
While the spotlight shone on the performers, we cannot overlook the crucial role played by the Operations Team. Their unwavering logistical support ensured a seamless execution of the event, from start to finish.
Celebrating the Winners: The awards ceremony recognised outstanding individuals who stood out among the talented pool of participants. Congratulations to Jean Azzopardi and Timothy Portelli for winning the Best Radio Playlist award, earning them a coveted 5-hour DJ course to further hone their skills.
Lily Ellul and James Cassar were acknowledged as the Best Radio Presenters and will have the opportunity to showcase their talent by touring Campus FM Radio and participating in a radio show. Nina Camilleri was awarded the Best Performance, while Mattea Axisa and Faye Papagiorcopulo received the accolade for Best Choreography.
