In our commitment toward's parental development, a parent workshop - 'The Cyber-Reality of our Children and Adolescents: Insights, Perspectives and Strategies was organised by the Department of Emotional Wellbeing.
The session was delivered by international speaker, Mr. Paddy Fogarty, a leading expert in the issues experienced by children and teenagers as they engage with communication and social media technologies.
The workshop covered topics such as banter, harassment, FOMO, catfishing, and identity theft and included a segment for audience questions.
Mr Fogarty carried out a similar workshop for our Grade 8 students during the school day.
