The happy faces of our younger students as they showed their parents round their class and corridors and the Senior Sector students intently interacting with parents or explaining concepts during lessons were but one of the highlights of this event. This year we were also honoured to welcome their Excellencies the Ambassadors of Egypt and China who visited the classrooms and displays of our Grade 5 students and Grade 2 and 4 students whose work dealt with Ancient Egypt and Chinese civilization respectively. <br><br>Open Day is by no means a solitary event for this term. In Senior Sector, the Grade 10 Astronomy Night, the Grade 8 & 9 Summer Soiree and the much-loved LYR-X Radio Awards all promise to provide memorable moments to all involved. Our Kindergarten presents us with the charming Pre-Grade and Grade 1 Concert which will as always reserve some touching instances as proud parents and relatives watch our little ones perform on stage. <br><br>The Grade 7 students bring life in Junior Sector to an end with the National End-of-Primary Exams and to follow, an exciting three days in Gozo which will be characterised by multifarious learning activities and assignments in the subjects they follow. All the work done in Gozo and upon their return in Malta will culminate in projects and presentations on topics all of which will be in some way related to our sister Island. <br><br>This year will also see our first-ever San Anton after-school catechism class students celebrate their First Holy Communion as a group. Dun Gorg Dalli, Ms Maria, Ms Diane, Mr Brian and the Parent Organising Committee have left no stone unturned to ensure that the event is an unforgettable experience in every respect. The now-traditional First Holy Communion Commemoration Mass will also be held, bringing all our Grade 3 students together to celebrate this important event in their young lives. <br><br>As is now customary, our Grade 12 students experience at San Anton reaches its zenith in their three day trip to Gozo, their last event before we bid them farewell and good luck at their Graduation ceremony at the end of June. Parents and friends of San Anton are not left out of the equation either. Indeed, you are all cordially invited to our Family Fun Day on the 27th May, our now annual appointment guaranteeing hours of fun for children and relaxation for the adults attending. You are also most welcome to attend Foundation Day Mass on the 13th June where the School community gathers to celebrate life at school and the service given to the School and to our students by our teachers. <br><br>The 28th June marks the end of the school year, yet another year of growth for our School community and of learning and formative experiences that our students will treasure in their life s journey. As the school year speedily draws to a close, may I remind you of our availability for whatever you may require.
