On Monday 10th and 17th January 2011, San Anton School`s Grade 4 students and their parents were invited to the Home Economics Seminar Centre in B`kara to participate in an educational nutrition program entitled “ A Healthy Breakfast for a Good Start.”

“These seven-year-old children in their respective classes participated in fun and interactive nutrition classes and activities underlining the importance of eating healthy food, fruit and vegetables, and making healthy choices.

Parents attended a parallel nutrition program focusing on the particular dietary needs and eating habits of their growing children.

Together with the teachers and children, they were then hosted to a healthy breakfast by the Home Economics Seminar Centre Team.

This annual activity forms part of a series of Healthy Eating Initiatives that the School pursues each year as part of its Whole School Healthy Eating Policy.
