Here Angele Coppini (Drama Teacher and Project Co-ordinator of San Anton School),Ms Sharon Naudi (Grade 2),Ms Tanja Gauci Fenech(Grade 3),Ms Anna Maria Tedesco Vella(Grade 1) together with the participants from eight other countries also gained first-hand experience in the teaching methods that are applied at the above school. The children of the above school also prepared a festival of traditional and contemporary dance in honour of the guests. The visit of all the participants from so many countries in Europe also made headline news in the local paper and an interview on radio by the whole project co-ordinator Mrs Anna Buttigieg-Deputy Head of St Albert College, Malta.</p> <p>Since it was the last meeting a summary and an evaluation of all the projects done in the past years was held. These included;</p> <p><strong>A  Dear Europe&  Diary</strong>(printed and in colour of the every day activities experienced by pupils at school)by the Grade 7 s</p> <p><strong>A Power Point Presentation </strong>of the students` own country by Ms Abigail Pearson IT Teacher</p> <p><strong>A Cultural Outing </strong>- on DVD including lesson plans(for professional teacher s development)by Grade 6 s</p> <p><strong>Traditional Games and Rhymes</strong> on DVD by grade 2 s and 4 s</p> <p><strong>Logo Competition </strong>(to be used in all project activities)</p> <p><strong>Art Work for Calendar  Festivities and Celebrations </strong>- (our school chose the month of October) by the Grade 5 s</p> <p><strong>A Virtual Scrapbook </strong>- This includes photos of some of the special activities that are organised at each school throughout the year.</p> <p>All this work can be seen on-line at www.deareuropeproject.com</p> <p>The aims and objectives of this project is to promote the pupil s curiosity about Europe and to become aware of the differences and similarities which define European citizenship. This was an excellent opportunity for all the teachers  nine in all-to experience at first hand the different methodologies adopted by the various schools in Portugal, Poland, Turkey , Greece and Hungary and also other participating countries like Italy and Spain. </p> <p>These cultural experiences will broaden our horizons and make us better persons in acquiring knowledge, skill and everlasting friendships.
